How it started:
With an intro from the incredible brand & web designer – Eva Couto.
Eva and Marielle had already nailed down the creative direction, brand strategy, mission, vision, etc.
Marielle (Founder of Saucy Mama) had everything BUT a name.
Where my inspo came from:
2. Ripped directly from her onboarding questionnaire — “What do Jesica Alba and these other celebrity moms know about motherhood products??? I can do this better!”
3. She really liked the idea of using the brand name as part of the product naming conventions. Her example was the word “Stuff.” Nipple Stuff. Baby Bottom Stuff.
Aaand all that lead us directly to “saucy.” It’s perfectly compliments Marielle’s perspective on motherhood, her personality, and of course, the product line of belly oils – aka sauces.
